Re: slow speed??

Hi emmasbloke,
I've just run a few checks for you, the connection seems to be pretty stable at the moments (i.e disconnections don't appear to be an issue) and the line profile on BT's side is just over 7mb which is being reflected on our systems.
Did you measure 2mb over ethernet or wireless?

Re: slow speed??

Hi thanks for the reply,ive tested it using both wireless connection and ethernet and got the same result,can't say its the exact same problem as i had a few months back because this time it is alot faster.

Re: slow speed??

@emmasbloke
Thanks for getting back to me, I'd definitely advise raising a fault as the next step: http://faults.plus.net
@Fireant
I'm sorry to see you feel that way, I've just read through the notes on ticket 62855566 and can see that we've not been able to find any issues. Have you been able to perhaps try another router as that could help rule out if the reduction in speeds has been caused by something in your premises.

Re: slow speed??

Hi Adam Granted was my router at first when joined i got intouch with netgear and they said it was a hardware problem and sent the router back to them and they replaced it will a new one so i doubt it would be this . Just seems strange why the speed isnt increasing probably due to disconnecting issues if im still getting or something else but i dont know why bt are saying 14mb when it was 17mb before changing over .

Re: slow speed??

You have a stuck IP profile on 20CN
Two things - go here and see if 21CN is available http://usertools.plus.net/exchanges/
Now the important bit
The BT test shows an IP profile of 2Mb but Adam earlier said it was over 7Mb so it would appear that there is a mismatched profile on the BT side which needs fixing
