slow speed/download/upload, just generally feels slow!

For last week or so, my internet has appeared slow and has trouble uploading/downloading, takes ages!    Wanted to raise a ticket but lets be honest they don't make it easy to find on the website so I gave up!  Tried the broadband troubleshooter thing but don't know if has done anything to report it!  Want to know if others having the same problem.  My father who is on the same postcode as me (DG10) is having problems too, so I know it is not just this account.    Can anyone help?

We've got the start of a fault ticket so thanks for that, though it won't be raised through to our faults team until you've been back to http://faults.plus.net and finish answering the questions there, if you could do that we'll get onto it for you and get it sorted.

Will endeavour to get hold of another router to try it out!  How many "normal" households have another router to try out?!?!?!  But given that others in the area are experiencing problems I don't think it is my equipment, but I shall pander to plusnets requirements in order to sort out the connection problem before I continue to pay for service that I'm not receiving.  By the way I never received any email to tell me there was a reply to this forum message so didn't know there had been a reply.

We always recommend trying another router where possible or even trying your router at another property.
If you're unable to do this then you can still complete the questions and we can check over your line, it would only be if we were to get to the point of needing an engineer that trying another router becomes more of a necessity.
