If you're having issues with the Sky wireless connector, you can manually configure it from a PC and then connect it back to your Sky box. See here - http://www.chrisnharvey.com/blog/2013/06/hacking-the-sky-wireless-connector
I've seen quite a few people get their wireless connectors going from using this method.
@ gt1974 - Have you tried rebooting the Sky box?

Really weird that it doesn't connect wired either, inclined to think it's not the router as mine and others worked out of the box, however if that's all that's changed...
Have you tried fully powering off the sky box? IE unplug from the mains, leave it for a few minutes and power back up? I know we're clutching at straws here but not sure what else to suggest Sad

I've seen countless people with problems with on demand.
Rebooting the box (i.e. power off 30 secs/back on again) normally fixes a lot of issues.
