woke to no internet and couldnt access the plusnet supplied technicolour router config through the browser so turned it off and on. After a while I got connected but I still can't access the router. Ive tried chrome, firefox and ie on windows 8 but no joy. I tried on another machine ( win 7) and it was possible to access the router config pages. Is there an issue accessing via windows 8? Up to now I've not had a problem

I would suspect that for some unexplained reason the Win8 PC's IP comms stack has gone squiffy. Can it access anything else on the network - e.g. Ping another LAN device?
Have you tried after rebooting it? Can you run ipconfig /all in a CMD prompt? Does it show a proper LAN address?
