hi there
i am only a mile away or so from the exchange so i should get a reasonable broadband speed. when i signed up to plusnet last november ish i was getting between 8-11 mb download speeds.
Laptop has been playing up lately and i put that down to the hard disk nearly being full due to loads of pictures uploaded from the phones/cameras etc
but i moved all them onto removable usb memory sticks the other day so there is loads of free space now.
thought i would do a speed test and last night 10pm got 0.74mb down and 1.54mb up, ping of 39
6am this morning got 11.76mb down and 1.30mb up, ping of 32
7pm tonight got 0.86mb down and 1.18mb up with a ping of 31
these are all with the ethernet cable to router etc

I have took off the adsl faceplate and there is nothing underneath it ......no master socket etc ............... the house was built 1970 so looking at the guide photos this would be an LJU Socket?
Any help here would be appreciated greatly and if a PLUSNET REP can raise a ticket for this issue then it would be a big help!!
THANKS PEEPS
