I don't seem to be able to get my order to go through.
I'm stuck in the "Checking your line" stage on the https://portal.plus.net/my.html?action=adsl_status page.
Could this be because both the broadband and landline at my home are currently held in a different person's name?
I do have a valid MAC key and was assured at the time of ordering that the different names were not an issue, but I have the following three items in my Help Assistant tickets:

Well, I've just received, for the first time, a text message and email telling me that the order is going through, so maybe I posted a little prematurely there!
Fingers crossed...

Hi there,
Glad things seem to be processing as they should, I can see that the your broadband is set to go active on the 20th February. We'll keep you updated along the way.
If you've got any questions please let me know.
Chris

Thanks Chris.
I do have a question now.
I've just received another update changing my go-live date from 20 February to 1 March.
My MAC key expires on 28 February.
Is this going to be an issue..?
Thanks.

No, as we've already placed before it expires that's fine

The gaining ISP has to use the MAC to place an order on the BT Wholesale system before it expires. Having successfully placed the order there is no time limit on the actual migration. The losing ISP will get a notification when the migration completes and should only end your old account when that happens.
