hi there
i seem to remember you posting in a thread (i cant find it at the moment)
that if the profiles on 21cn were not on the 88.2 system it needed to be raised as a fault and to let you know
since ive been on 21cn i have only had 20cn profiles (2000 and 2500),
the plusnet side of things has had 21cn but not mine
btspeed test has never given me a 21cn profile
at the moment i should have a 2900 profile but infact i am on 2000

hi again ive gone though the fault checker as i was asked on my ticket ,
it seems a bit daft as this is an exchange problem that your suppliers have asked to to let them know about

Hi niko,
The post you highlighted may well be the same, but I suspect it's something else, like the bRAS or MSAN not updating correctly since your changeover. In order to investigate it further, I'm going to have to raise a fault to our suppliers and then contact them to check the bRAS/MSAN. If it can't be resolved at that level I'll have to raise a case - and that's not the quickest of processes. I'll let you know how I get on.

if it was bras problem would it not just be slow rather than rounded?
and by msan do you mean a faulty card?

I think it will be that you still have the profile from 20CN and that it should change when it updates. The MSAN is Multi-Service Access Node which you are connected to at the exchange. Smiley

sorry but my profile has changed three times already since going on to 21cn so its not that
i believe the msan still has line cards ?but this doesnt seems like a faulty card symtom to me
the fact that its only had 21cn at the exchage 2 weeks i still think its the same problem as that other thread (software update needed for msan)

it isnt nothing has changed ,i still have a 20cn profile on 21cn (still 2000)
it seems there treating it as a stuck profile ,thats not the problem
(well not the only one)

bt speed test result from 9.08 today
