question for plusnet member of staff

At the moment I'm on ADSL2+ and getting download speeds of around 9mb. It says on the BT checker that I should be able to get upto 11.2mb with fttc. My question is that if I could only achieve approx the same speed on fttc has I'm getting now could I cancel the upgrade and stay on ADSL2+ or return to ADSL2+ After a short while. I know the BT checker is usually on the conservative side but just wanted to know before I go ahead with a upgrade.
Thanks.

Re: question for plusnet member of staff

Basically fibre is an 12 month contract with BT Openreach via Plusnet (the Plusnet contract with you is 18 months) so once on it you are stuck with it with no going back

Re: question for plusnet member of staff

I guess it depends when the install is booked for, if it's quite a few days away you may be able to cancel it.
