I think I have not made myself clear.
36 hours from the end of my last billing period I experienced what I thought was a speed problem. This turned out to be throttling as a result of my exceeding 4GB Peak Time usage.
This led me to start this thread with a view to deciding on whether it was necessary to upgrade, and if so, to what product. I now have a better idea of my options thanks to advice from contributors to this thread.

I also wondered whether you experienced a slowdown after you hit 1.5GB peak but before you hit 4GB, that was the real point of the qeustion (I think it was me who was not making myself clear)

Hi Paul,
Those restrictions were subsequently lifted. As far as I am aware, you should only see slowdowns on BB+ after 4GB peak usage has been reached.

No there was no slowing until I passed 4GB.
