problems browsing?

Getting lots of   'Oops! Google Chrome could not find..........'  today
anyone know anything about what could be affecting this?

Is that on all web pages or specific ones, are you able to do a traceroute when this happens?

Is your router hot? I had a router die last week giving the same problem when browsing anything online.  I had a tester router from PN and now using it instead, so this heatwave could have or is slowly cooking your router

specfic ones all different types of website
tracert comes back with... 'unable to resolve target system name'
does that mean a problem with the websites or am I doing it wrong?

Try some different DNS servers? Google for example, 8.8.8.8 8.8.4.4
Can also use something like http://isitup.org/ to check if the website is up.
Also check your proxy settings inside chrome / try another browser?
