Re: possible to have banding changed?

Your line isn't banded - you have a fault
Did you report a fault as I suggested in your other thread

Re: possible to have banding changed?

As far as I know there is no such thing as banding on a fibre connection - it is specific to 21CN and maybe only ADSL2/2+ as I haven't seen a case of banding on 21CN ADSL1

What are bands?
Just like ADSL, FTTC has a number of bands that your connection will be categorised into. Please see below for a list of some of the different bands:

Chris Pettitt's new guide is very good and useful - http://community.plus.net/library/browsing/fttc-dlm-what-it-is-how-it-works/
I didn't realise there were so many fibre bands.

Re: possible to have banding changed?

@lancej - You've not been placed on the wrong band, however it looks as though the line is erroring, even at the speeds you've got at the moment. I can see you've raised a Fault Ticket (86122505), our Faults Team will take a look at your line and will be in touch to discuss this further.
@AndyH - The bands on the guide are a snapshot at just some of the bands. The list does go on....FTTC uses bands instead of SNR as ADSL does. I'm glad you've found the guide useful though Smiley
