page won't load, too many redirects error

Everything was fine until late yesterday afternoon.  Since then I've not been able to reach the login page to my bank, the error is too many redirects.

1) It only this one page I can't reach, every other page loads as normal

2) My default browser is Firefox but the same thing happens using Edge (I don't have Chrome installed)

3) It doesn't matter if I use my desktop PC, which runs Win 10 Pro, or my laptop, which runs Win 11 Pro

4) Disabling all extensions in FF has no effect

5) Clearing the cache and cookies and flushing the DNS cache has no effect

6) Changing the DNS server from automatic to either Google DNS (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4) or OpenDNS (208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220) has no effect

7) Other people can reach the page in question, implying the problem is at my end but I've not changed anything and the last Windows update that landed on my machine was back on 16th June

Another thing that points to the problem being at my end is that if I force my Android phone to use my wifi then Firefox cannot reach the page BUT if I turn off wifi on the phone, i.e. force my phone to use mobile data, it can reach the page

Anybody got any ideas as to what I can try next?

Thanks

Re: page won't load, too many redirects error

OK, now I know the Internet is out to get me...

<deeepsigh>

Having made the above post, I have tried one more time to reach the page in question and now it works.

No, I didn't do anything but something must have changed.
