opening saved download for v8 router

hi i have saved the download for the v8 router onto hard drive but i cannot open or do anything with it. am i doing something wrong or can anyone tell me how it opensto get to setup.exe as explained in the post by adiewoo in the v8 thread.thank you

I assume you are referring to the Thomson 585v7/585v8 firmware flashing utility which should have been saved to your computer as TG_UPGRADE.zip (or Windows 7 Upgrade Tool.zip). If your computer doesn't know how to open these ZIP files I suggest installing 7-Zip from http://www.7-zip.org/ which will provide the capability you need.
Once installed use the extract button to get the directory containing the utility onto your computer. setup.exe is in there.
