now download speeds using u torrent,help

Hi i got a email to sya ive gone over my download usage but i didnt think plusnet would cut of my downloads speeds overnight which is of peak times.i thought of peak was unlimited.

any ideaS?

yeh thats bad as i always thought offpeak was unlimited usage!

Hi there,
Checking your usage and connections you're doing everything within peak time - you're on BBYW option 4 and the peak time runs from 8am to midnight. If you do your downloading overnight you'll be able to avoid this in future.

so it matters which way round i do it,so can i download as much as i like overnight and that wont affect my 40gb downloading usage during peak times?

Usage is counted from 8am to midnight. Usage from midnight to 8am is free.

Your 40GB usage runs for the duration of your billing month - so if you get billed on the 17th, your 40GB is for use between the 17th of this month, and the 16th of the next, when it will reset.

This should happen in the early hours of tomorrow afternoon.
Regarding the PUGIT query, usage is restricted 24/7 once the limit has been reached by design.  This is down to the economics of the product, rather than it actually being done in error.

If you go to My Questions you will see a new closed ticket (you will need to select closed questions from the dropdown) added to your account when the usage is reset (I suggest you look at last months to see what it looks like).
