no router

Hi guys,
My engineer is booked for 5 days time and my routers still not being despatched?
Shouldn't this be here by now? Leaving it a bit late!
Account says not despatched.
Any news?

you're not alone, mine is planned for Thursday and yet to be dispatched.

Routers normally arrive a couple of days before installation. For Thursday installations I'd expect the automated systems to queue it for ordering in the next 24 hours, probably dispatched Monday evening. Worth keeping a check on closed service notices in the Member Centre though https://www.plus.net/wizard/?p=search. Select an appropriate date range and click Go to list closed questions and service notices.
For Friday installations timescales would be a day later.

Mine arrived 2 days before my installation. Mind you, I changed it for something decent 3 weeks later.

Might be a stupid question but why do Plusnet send the routers out so close to the engineer's appointment? Why not just send them earlier and avoid potential problems?  Huh

i posted last night, and it actually turned up today, had a text from Plusnet this morning at 9.02 saying they were posting it, turned up about 15min later, so i wouldn't worry to much.
Also my install date is this Wednesday.

Hi AdamD / bwlmog,
I have checked both of your accounts and can see that your routers are being processed. We would expect them to be dispatched tomorrow and so they should be delivered before your engineer appointments.

Hi David,
Just got an update ticket saying router order placed, so looks all in place Smiley
I just panic as i do quite a bit of work from home so need +net up and running when my Sky goes down on the 11th !

Still nothing on my account to say that the order has been progressed or that the router has been dispatched. NOt looking good for Thursday switch over Embarrassed

To be honest the last two migrations from Sky and BE were an absolute nightmare so I'm planning for the worst, but hoping for the best.
