no ppp or atm on line

I became a customer last week on the 7th of september 2011.
My internet worked for about 12 hours before it failed.
I have spoken to tech support several times tried all the tests, but as nice as they all are i am completely fed up.
Its now Monday the 12 september and i have called again just to be told to try later. i am sure its a fault with bt but i need something positive. Has any one else had this a if so how long did it take to repair.
Any help or suggestions.

Hi David,
It does seem that the resolution of you phone fault by your supplier was responsible for your loss of broadband. Let us know how the engineer visit goes tomorrow.
