no internet light on router

Hello

My broadband was disconnected last Monday in error. I got through to customer services today who have set me up with a new account. I also got an email under my new account name with the header "your broadband's ready to go"

I've unplugged my router and filters a few times. I've tested the landline. Pretty sure I've gone through all the steps I can but the internet light stays off on the router and I can't connect to the internet.

Can you please help?

Have you got a new username and if so have you entered it in the router?

Have you tried a factory reset on the router - pin hole on the back for 30 secs.

I'll try the factory reset, thank you. How do I eneter my new user id into the router?

What router are you trying to use.

A Hub One or something else?

I think the brand is Sagecom Router 2704N.

I don't think it's a hub.
