Hi spraxyt,i went into add/delete and took the msn out of it and deleted the icon by right clicking and that seems to have gone,ive done the right thing havent  i and what will it have made difference to my pc,just hope theres no downside.thanks and kind regards again,ray.

Yes, making that change should be fine - I wouldn't have suggested it if I felt otherwise. It might not make your computer behave any better, but it shouldn't be worse.
