im now having to restart my router every few days its good for a day or two then drops off again, how do i get a new router off plusnett as apart from the main problems im also having strict nat problems with some games with my thomson router. i dont think after a good few years custom a new router is too much to ask

to be honest you'd be better off buying your own router, the PN supplied one for non-Fibre isn't that great, especially if you want to forward ports etc.
PN may try and recontract you to supply a router and you'd have to pay p+p anyway.

@dvorak - If someone renewed their contract, surely a new router could be sent with free P&P?

Generally not, even when you sign up for a new account you pay P&P on the router.
But you won't know until you call customer options and ask
