In the last hour I have tried using it 5 time times. Everytime I have tried it gives me results that are impossible.

My BT profile is 6500 and my PN is 6000. Could this be the problem?

They should match but I wouldn't see that as a major factor in you varying D/L speeds.
Have you had a recent low sync event which caused a profile drop from which it is now recovering?

My profile was 6000 for the last few months. I restarted my router few days ago and it went into the 6500 profile barrier.
Some of the speedtest are outragous, 30000, 16000. I just wanted to know my speed, but these are way too unreliable. Any suggestions for a good speedtester?
This is off topic, but I don't see the point in starting a new thread. Is the usertools website automatically updated? because my exchange ETA fix time, just jumps forward after the date passes.

Hi there,
You could try a BT Speedtest or the one on TBB.
Re the usertools site, it is automatically updated, if the fix date has changed that'll have been changed in the update from BT Wholesale.

I'm finding that mybroadbandspeed does not complete after the upload test - it sits on 100% with the upload speed gradually reducing. This started happening around the middle of January.
speedtest.net (which uses the same Ookla engine) works perfectly OK.

I've had no problems with either my broadband speed test or speed test.net. They both agree with each other and usually give a slightly higher speed than the BT Speed tester.
