my boadband is so slow?

just got plusnet the other day and so far im not to impressed.
i only use it for browsing the web and gaming (ps4)
i have noticed serious lag and have been unable to complete a game of fifa. it just disconnects from the servers.
anyway im supposed to be getting 7mb but its much lower than that constantly.
i have tried the ps4 hooked up and wireless and nothing is helping.
any ideas?

The "My Broadband Speed" site is borked - don't rely on it.
Can you provide the information from this post to help the guys diagnose your issue?

As above - mybroadband speed is not accurate.

Hopefully, you should see some improvements by Wednesday (a router restart might be required).  If no improvements are seen, then please post back here.
