Firstly, sorry if i have put this in the wrong area but i was not sure where best to put it.
anyway, to the point, i got a msn message from my daughter which had a link to www tepemuzu.info/list which then redirects you to www msnliststatus.com which if you login with your msn login, tells you who has blocked you..
not the case, i read on another site that this site then steals your login details and starts sending similar messages to your contact list... unfortunately my daughter did not realise this
I'm not sure if it puts a virus on the system, AVG has not alarmed, but i'm gonna run a full virus scan/
anyone else come across this problem
thanks

Hmmm.
The site has a statement telling you its nothing to do with Microsoft.
It asks for your credentials on a http form rather than https
Since the whole point of blocking is that folks don't know you've done it, it should have rung a bell when there was all of a sudden a way for somebody who is nothing to do with M$ to tell you who has blocked you.
It seems to me that you need to have a re-education session with your daughter.
Its useful to spread the warning, but the site itself should spring up enough warnings in peoples minds to prevent them from using it.

I fell for it about 3 weeks ago, I got a message from a friend via MSN with the link. I just didn't think, entered my details and actually it appeared to provide a valid information. However, I immediately twigged that I'd done a very silly thing 'hmm actually this *ISN'T* part of MSN...why did I just provide them with my login details?!?!'. Anyone who logs into the site with their MSN authentication details should immediately change their password and secret question, otherwise your account will be hijacked and used to send more messages.

I agree it should trigger alarm bells, and did with me, but she got the link (supposedly) from her friend and assumed it was ok.. I have given her another crash course on some do's and dont's but it easier for me to say as I have quite a few years of IT experience over her
I just really wanted to put a warning out again for those who were not so sure..
