lower speeds

Hi,ive been on hols for a week and turned my dg834gt off.I came back to find my broadband speed had gone down from a setting of 2000 to 1500.I have jusr resynced and my router is showing 3392 on the connection speed. Can anyone help and put my speed back up to the 2000 it has worked abselutely brilliant on with speeds of around 1900,which i am very happy with but it dropped to around 1600+ and since resyncing and the router stats going upto the3392,its gone down to 1400+.It usually settles i find in the mid 2000s,giving me the 2000 connection speed not the 1500 as it is now.Ive added nothing and bt did put me a new latest tech i believe face plate i think there called. Can anyone help please.up the owls ray.

Re: lower speeds

Hi Owlguard,
I'd reccommend having a quick read of my speed faults troubleshooting guide which you can find in my signature.
Having had a look at your line conditions, I can see that whilst you are now connecting at 3392Kbps, you were previously connecting at 2272Kbps, and thus being assigned an IP Profile of 1750Kbps.  I've mapped this against our internal profiling system, so if you reboot your router, you may notice a marginal improvement.
Also, if you maintain your current connection speeds for the next 3 days, you should then see an IP Profile of about 2500Kbps, giving you speeds in the lower 2000's.
