lost broadband connection

Broadband light just flashes, have checked filters etc; all ok, according to plusnet everything ok with phone line. This started last week , had been fine up till then.
Any ideas, engineer can come and check butwould cost £60 if fault is our end, when trying to connect just get local only.

Hi there,
Sorry to hear about the issue with your connection. In all honesty it could be one of quite a number of things causing this so we'd need to continue with a fault investigation.
I've just had a look at ticket 55930074 and it looks like we're awaiting to hear back from you with regards to some fault checks.

Thanks for quick reply, have done all checks and still the same  just broadband light flashing, Cannot connect even with ethernet cable.
