losing the will to live......... can i go back to dial up?

Morning all  🙂 Since Oct 2016 suffering with pages timing out slow load speeds  ,Customer service is a Joke been on live chat so many times its not funny just get fobbed of as things seem to check out from there end, had BT fit new master socket, tried all devices via Cable and Wireless, still the same .

been on http://speedtest.btwholesale.com/

results are as follows :

First test

download: 37.8

Upload :1.84

Ping: 20.45 

Second test would not load then error 

Third cane up with download speed as 0.0

Im also having the same issues from Plusnet and getting no help. BT engineer came out fitted new master socket and found no faults. My Btwholesale test is coming back with a download speed of 0.5, ridiculous.

I though I'd give it ago for you, for comparisons sake :

Thus I went to http://speedtest.btwholesale.com/

And my results are as follows :

First test

download: 8.69

Upload : 0.99

Ping: 44.88

Second Test

download: 8.79

Upload : 0.84

Ping: 46.88

Third Test

download: 8.72

Upload : 0.99

Ping: 43.00

i ran each test one after another with a break of a minute in between, my line seems stable, even though there's a slight deviation, I think that's due to packet loss.

anyway, hope this helps. I only have the cheap home broadband package for £20 a month. I did pay PlusNet a fiver though for a Static IP, which has made my life so much easier you wouldn't believe.
