getting back on subject - I prefer the PUG layout for clarity.
One word of caution a number of the suggestions seem to involve a darker grey background to the black text. For those whose eyesight is not too good this is not a good idea. You must keep the text sufficiently distinct from the background.

I agree with you there. The suggestion I posted was more to show the idea of using different background colours without lines to deliminate the posts, together with the grey page background.
That method in the PUG background colours would look good.

Actually I far prefer mug v1.0 - nicer aesthetics and an all round greater hot-beverage-imbibing experience. And the handle is a lot comfier.
