Can anyone increase my ip profile it seems tro be stuck at 3mp
2.75 Mbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 0.6 Mbps-7.15 Mbps.
Additional Information:
Your DSL Connection Rate :4.61 Mbps(DOWN-STREAM), 0.45 Mbps(UP-STREAM)
IP Profile for your line is - 3 Mbps
I usually get over 3MP and sometime over 4MP but now it is 2.75 which gets a bit slow for iplayer which is the only way we can TV here because a TV ariel will not work.
Thanks

We are not on 21CN.
In the past I have just asked the support staff on here and the ip profile has been changed instantly.
Has that recently changed?
Thanks

I am not sure what the present options are for updating the one held at the exchange but I am sure those who are more in the loop than me will advise

although the line I am on has quite a lot of interference the quiet line test is not quiet!! It always bad after rain.
We often have problem on our line in our village and the BT engineer is here every week minding someone lines!! I have it repaired last year and my neighbour phone line was down last week.
So overall I am quite happy with the speed I get now. Hopefully the ip profile might move to 4!!
Thanks for your help.

Whilst there is discernible noise on the line, you are simply not going to see the best from the BB service. The level of noise is quite likely to be responsible for the elevated 9dB SNRM. If the noise can be addressed and the SNRM brought down tot he normal 6dB or exceptional 3dB then the DS synch might be enhanced somewhat.

Yes plusnet is our provider.
We live in a rural area where we only have a choice of BT or Plusnet!!
I don't think anything can be done on our line unless they replace it which according to the engineer BT will not do!!
