iPlayer suddenly thinks I am abroad, Plusnet thinks i'm not using their gateway.

Not sure what's going on.  Can't view iPlayer, it says it's for UK residends only.

Please could you let me know by PM what the first 3 octets of your IP address are so I can check why the Gateway Checker thinks you are not using a Plusnet IP.

Thanks. However the IP supplied works fine in the checker. Have you disconnected from Plusnet and reconnected to get a different IP from that you had when experiencing the problem? See PM.

If you go to http://whois.ninja.so/ does it list the location as 'United Kingdom'?

Got to the bottom of it.  My browser (Opera 15) switched (or I accidental switched) into OffRoad data saving mode, which uses proxy servers.
My IP address in the forum posts were the clue.  They showed:  217.212.230.21  Which is Opera's servers....
