i keep getting disconnected

hello
i have been getting disconnecting every day now for many weeks... sometimes 5 to 10 times a day if i switch of at the wall it will reconnect .
what i have noticed also is that when the phone rings it disconnects straight away.
i have one phone in the house which is cordless and is away from the router have changed the filter 3 times but still the same problem,
on some occasions but not all i lose the bt line.
i have phoned bt who has monitored the line for 24 hrs and reports nothing wrong .
any help would be great .
as my next step is to try a new modem, which maybe throwing good money away

I would suggest connecting into your <a href="http://www.plus.net/support/broadband/master-socket-guide.shtml#whatsTest">test socket</a>. If you still have no joy then raising a fault at http://faults.plus.net will be the best direction to go in.
