gigabit modem/router recommendations

i am looking to buy gigabit modem/router, are there any better than others to work with plusnet, i have tried a billion 7800n could not get it to work, i return it suspecting it was faulty

I, and others, woud highly recommend a working Billion 7800N!

Why do you need it, have you got a Gigabit broadband connection?  
Normal modem/router plus a Gigabit switch is cheaper, more effective and more flexible.
(the last Gigabit switch I purchased was £13.89 delivered)

i think i might give billion another go,i want a new router as i want to change from speedtouch
