Hi I am a new user so hope I am doing this right.
I upgraded to plusnet fibre on 7/1/14 and speed when engineer left was 84m/b, the next day it was 111 but during the night dropped to 2.5, since then always been below 3. done a reboot of modem, router and computer but no difference. According to tests done on 6/12/13 when I enquired about fibre my speeds should be 63m/b. I know speeds can vary in first 10 days but surely not by this much.
Any help much appreciated.

If it's FTTC, then there is something wrong with your speed tests as it's not possible to get above 80Mb/s. FTTC has a maximum speed of 80/20 but it will slightly lower due to overheads so the IP Profile would be set to 77Mb (I believe).
Where have you been doing speed tests that give you 84Mb/s and 111Mb/s?

Hi Jaggies, member centre say's line speed of 2.5 estimated speed 63 this was when I requested upgrade to fibre on 6/12/13 . I assumed that was the speed I was getting before upgrade but it looks like it could still be the same!

That will need to be updated for FTTC. It may happen when Plusnet get a Delta report from BT, or you could call in and ask, or just wait until the DCT guys are back on Monday.

Hi there.
I've just updated that for you now and this should take affect in the next 15 minutes.
You may need to log into your router and disconnect then reconnect if you don't see any improvement
Alternatively just simply reboot your router
Any further issues please let us know
