fttc profile

hi there,just quick question,my friend recently sign whit PN for fttc,we are both under 200 metres away from FttC cabinets.The question is WHY his line speed was set to 78Mbps and mine to 77Mbps??? can someone from PN explain it to me?

In all honesty i would be perfectly happy with what you have got! i pay for the same service as you....

i am happy,honestly  just you know,want to get maximum,befor my friend sign whit plusnet i was told that it the max speed 77Mbps,but after talking to OR enginer his told that my friend and i should get the same....the differens is 1Mbps its not a issue,but .....would like to get an answer from PN,and thats it

also OR enginer told that lines is set to 80Mbps,but the IP profile is 77Mbps on my line..where this 3Mbps gone  if the line sync is 80 then i probably should get around 75-76Mbps,not 72Mbps...???
