engineer visit

I'm due to have fibre installed on the 13th june and have been told and engineer will visit - do we have to be in or is it just external work?

Hi Imaris, I have checked this for you, Great news your activation is confirmed for 13/06/17 anytime up till midnight on that day, the switch on is done externally and you Do Not need to be at home for it, On the day you will get 2 text alerts to confirm when the phone and broadband orders complete & activate, you can connect your router up anytime after getting the 2 alerts.
