dropped connections and slow as a snail!

What is happening to Plusnet? Today my broadband connection keeps dropping out every 20 mins or so and when I do manage to reconnect my speed is so slow it's like being on dial up not broadband. What is going on?

if you haven't done so already i'd run through a fault tester.
the frequent drops will be causing the dlm to reprofile your line into a snail, and it certainly sounds like a fault situation

Have you tried using the test socket inside the master socket?

I'd definitely test the connection with the router in the test socket to see if that helps. If it still drops when that's been set up then you've proved a line fault and should raise it to us at http://faults.plus.net
If it fixes the issue then there's most likely a problem with your internal wiring somewhere, I'm afraid that's not something we'd be able to help with except being able to offer general advice.
