Good morning andymelv.
I've had a look at your ticket and posted a response.
Like you said, your line has been stable for over 3 days now. I've reset your line and the sync rate has gone back up to 2.1mb. I've just given our internal profile a nudge also.
Give it 15 mins or so and quickly reboot your router, this should pick up the new speed.
Hope this sorts it for you, let us know if you have any further questions.

thanks, line back at 2meg however i've noticed that my noise margin dropped to as low as -1.1dB in the evening, my line stayed connected but i could not surf the web or download anything.
i'm a bit of a novice at all this but can you explain what is happening during this period of low noise margin.
should i just ignore these changes and just wait the ten days till my line has settled, its just that it said my line would go up and down a little over the ten day period but my speed has dropped by half (not a little).
