connection issues

Hi,
So the past few days I've had a huge number of disconnections which seemed to happen in the morning this graph from yesterday:

and today:

I have reset the bt router/plusnet router once and manually tried connecting a few times when the disconnections occured. I've checked the phone line today and it's completely dead, can't dial it or dial out with it. I've read somewhere on the bt forums that it could possibly be due to a thunderstorm which could damage the components inside the masterplate. And since we had a thunderstorm with some rain yesterday in the morning this seems pretty plausible.
So I'm wondering on what I should be doing, I guess contact bt report the fault? though their support is pretty terrible  Sad
Hope someone can shed some light on this

Raise a fault here - assuming that you are actually with Plusnet - https://faults.plus.net as you can't contact BT Openreach directly

Hi there
If the phone lines completely dead this needs investigating first I'm afraid.
We can't report any issues with your connection until this is fixed
I'd recommend getting in touch with your phone provider

You need to report your phone fault to your phone provider - assuming bt from your post?
That'll need to be sorted before your broadband be looked at.
