The plot thickens.  I Wii found the access point and went through and wanted to upgrade which I agreed to then it couldn't upgrade and now can't find an access point?

Done that with me a few times,keep your settings now its found the router and try again later,it should upgrade providing its never been hacked or modded in any way.

Alright so type in your ssid into the wii and the password for your router into the settings on the wii aswell then click right to the next screen

OK , have put in SSID and the WEP code (which I no know off by heart!)
Got a screen for Auto-obtain IP address
