changing service to save a little bit of money...

currently i'm on 'PlusNet Broadband Premier Option 1 (Annual Contract, No Modem)'
probly need to save a bit of money as jobs about to go ( again ), god i hate working in IT sometimes...
would like to know what i will loose/gain moving to either the pro or the new unlimited ( but profiled ) services?
also what would i be committed to a new contract length or just a account change? account change fee?
anyone else done this?

I've gone from Prem 1 to unlimited, so far so good.
For the differences in the products have a look here http://www.kitz.co.uk/isp/plusnet_shaping2.htm Pro doesn't have any shaping applied to it but you'll lose a lot of your current off peak hours so you'd have to look closely at your usage.
You'll be tied in to a 12 month contract but you can keep your existing value adds like VoIP minutes and webspace which new customers don't get.

12 months without hardware, 18 months with.
Guess you probably don't need any though.

No fees for changing either, but you only get the lower price if your exchange is a market 3 which you  can check here
