can't connect to router wirelessly

Hi,
I just joined plusnet and my experience so far with the technicolor router is pretty poor. When broadband was switched on yesterday I was able to connect to the router wirelessly but got terrible speed (0.6Mb download compared to 4.6Mb connected over ethernet, I'm on ADSL). And now when I connect to the router wirelessly I can't get online at all and Windows 7 lists the connection as "limited access" . This is with the laptop (which has a broadcom 802.11n wireless card) sitting < a foot from the router.
Help?

Re: can't connect to router wirelessly

'Limited access' generally means 'tried and failed'.

Re: can't connect to router wirelessly

I'm having a similar problem with my desktop running vista.  However, I can connect wirelessly but not with LAN connection.  No idea what the problem is but when i plu the ethernet into router it finds unidentified network .
Starting to think I should get a new router
