can anyone at plusnet help me to improve my internet speed gaming is getting realy bad also team speek keeps droping all the time i am now using my old netgear dg834g-v3 the thompson is just poo stats above

Can you connect the router to the TEST socket if you have a newish BT/Openreach master socket and get the line stats from there.
The TEST socket is the one at the back on the right as you look at the image > [color=red]TEST socket.
The removable section in the foreground should have any of your phone extensions wired into it (if there are some). [/color]

i can connect the router to the TEST socket but then i cant use my main pc if you give me a time period to test it that would be good

If possible it would be best to connect the router to the test socket in day light hours as you should get a reasonable sync rate, you could connect the PC up to it any time that suits either straight away or later in the evening and get the stats.
If you remember the approximate time of day you got the stats you posted earlier then a similar/same time as that would also do, it's up to you whatever is the easiest for you.

i will setup on test socket tuesday and use my laptop with the router them post stats thanks for your help
