bt 2700 hgv

Hi I'll be moving from BT shortly and I'm on a long line Attenuation: 57.2 dB I've found the best router so far is the old two wire 2700hgv , are there any problems using this with Plusnet or any tips . Cheers

Use the page=hurl13 method mentioned on this page http://bt2700hgv.tripod.com/063.htm to enter your plusnet username and password.

Should work fine, I had one of these several years ago and there was no issue.

Re: bt 2700 hgv

Give it a go..
Plug in the 2700....the internet light will be red
Plug computer in via ethernet (or maybe connect via wireless)....goto http://home/xslt?PAGE=HURL13 or http://192.168.1.254/xslt?PAGE=HURL13
Type in your adsl username and password. The System Admin password is the S/N serial number found on the label attached to the hub.
When you see 'Re-attempting' message appear on the screen, this confirms the hub has successfully saved your PPP username and password. Restart the hub, and when both the Broadband and Internet LEDs turn Green, you are successfully connected to the internet.
