Hi I'll be moving from BT shortly and I'm on a long line Attenuation: 57.2 dB I've found the best router so far is the old two wire 2700hgv , are there any problems using this with Plusnet or any tips . Cheers

Should work fine, I had one of these several years ago and there was no issue.

HI broad band up and running now tried the 2700 first and just a red internet light got the plusnet router working , would it be worth trying the 2700 again now the connection has been made ? cheers

Give it a go..
Plug in the 2700....the internet light will be red
Plug computer in via ethernet (or maybe connect via wireless)....goto http://home/xslt?PAGE=HURL13 or http://192.168.1.254/xslt?PAGE=HURL13
Type in your adsl username and password. The System Admin password is the S/N serial number found on the label attached to the hub.
When you see 'Re-attempting' message appear on the screen, this confirms the hub has successfully saved your PPP username and password. Restart the hub, and when both the Broadband and Internet LEDs turn Green, you are successfully connected to the internet.

Hooray the old 2700 is back in use !!!! although at the side of other routers I've used the little Plusnet one was doing pretty good I was impressed but not quite as good as the 2 wire . Thanks for the help
