browser session closing unexpectedly daily-since change from BT

Hi
We have had Plusnet fow a few weeks now. We had Bt with a home hub previously
In terms of equipment everything remains the same except we now have the Plunet wifi router-All seems good , except for one thing-Everyday at least once a day we lose our browser-a message comes up stating “ your last browsing session closed unexpectedly..” This was something we rarely saw with BT
-what is causing it?

That is generally caused by a problem with the browser or a misbehaving website etc rather than your ISP.
Have you done a full virus and malware scan recently ?

my partner has an Ipad and hers ipad stops at same time as I  get Browser stopping unexpectedly

I assume it's IE that you're using since that's the error you get when it crashes, have you tried any other browsers (Chrome, Firefox)?

Yes I have only been using IE

I'm inclined to say it's a corrupt IE file but when you mentioned that your iPad is also affected, I won't put all my money on that being the final answer!
Can you tell us what version of windows and IE you're using?
MS do recommend doing the following reset to get rid of the error on IE
Open Internet Explorer
Click on Tools
Click on Internet Options
Click on Advanced
Click on Reset
Reboot the computer

You could also rule out the Plusnet router by going back to your Home Hub.
