browser continually asks for router password at first start

Have just joined plusnet and having the following problem.  Running Vista Home Premium with SP2 and using supplied modem.  Everything OK with my account but when another Windows user opens any browser (tried IE, Chrome, Firefox & Opera) it overrides the home page setting and asks for router username & p/w.  Cancel button doesn't work.  Sometimes can work around this by accessing a webmail account (not plusnet) via Thunderbird.  Any ideas why this happens, why cancel button doesn't work and how to fix it?
Thanks  Steve

Re: browser continually asks for router password at first start

You probably need to change the internet connection properties for the other users as they don't seem to be getting internet access on the other accounts
If you go to the Network and sharing centre - via Control Panel is there anything obviously wrong or different when comparing the two accounts
