Re: broadband package

Hi there,
I'd be inclined to say to go for either BBYW Option 2 or Pro.
Looking at your usage however, neither of these may be suitable for your usage requirements.  Unless you are likely to be cutting down on your current usage, or are happy to ensure that your downloads are being scheduled between midnight and 8am, I'd say that you're on the best product for your needs.

Re: broadband package

well its just the gaming usage that will remain,
other downloads will be scheduled
so what package do you think will suit with that in mind?

Re: broadband package

Hi there,
How much do you think that you will be using during peak times of the day?
It's a little hard for me to assess as you're peak hours would change if you were to move over to a Broadband Your Way and I can't actually tell what part of your current off peak usage would still be off peak under the new products.
Sorry if I'm being a little confusing Smiley

Re: broadband package

as stated above gaming would be approx 3 hrs in peak time and all p2p would be midnight on

Re: broadband package

In which case I'd stick to my earlier suggestion of Option 2 or Pro.
You could also save yourself some money by referring some of your gaming mates Cheesy

Re: broadband package

for money reasons or am i wrong?

Re: broadband package

no, you can change anytime you want just by going through the member center, or one of the comms team can put through the upgrade for you Smiley

Sorry, should have said - once logged in, go to my account, then change to a new product.

Re: broadband package

Hi slick,
It's as simple as following the link below and then requesting the relevant "upgrade".
https://portal.plus.net/upgrade_process.html?memberheader=upgrade
I appreciate that "upgrade" is possibly a little misleading, but it's the way to go about getting your product changed.

A word of warning, I was told that once you switch you can't go back.
Consider the traffic management system and what data gets priority.

Re: broadband package

That's incorrect.
I can easily move customers back to a legacy account and I believe that the CSC are also able to do this.

Re: broadband package

Some members of the CSC can move customers back to the legacy products. Though the force has to be strong within them for this to be possible.
