broadband issue

i am using talktalk HG635  for adsl   everything has been fine for just over 3 weeks now i have random disconnects from broadband    and its been logged in the modem as  WAN connection INTERNET_TR069_R_0_38:IPv4 disconnected.(ERROR_ISP_DISCONNECT)

Hi there,

 

The error you mentioned isn't really specific and just means you've been disconnected from the internet.

 

I can see that the connection has been dropping out multiple times so you did the right thing by reporting a fault.

1 problem with reporting faults to plusnet  after about 14 days they say theres no faults

I can see that's happened in the past however the tickets were never sent back to us to let us know that the fault was still an issue for you.

 

If that does happen please reply to the ticket as soon as you can and feel free to drop a reply back here so we can chase things up.

Hi Daniel. Log into your HG635 and under the Basic Information - untick the TR069 box.

Also check that your Plusnet username and password are still correct. HTH.

i have untick the TR069 box  but there might be a line fault   still having random disconnects

Fix

Unticking that box will hopefully stop it trying to connect to the wrong ACS - which it can't do in practise anyway, which might leave you with no Internet connection even though you are synced to the exchange.
