Hi
I'm using the Zyxel router supplied for FTTC and also have lying around a Thomson 585vn that I had tried out. Is there a way to bridge between these in order to extend my wifi network to my garage?

This is going to be hard without the forum creating a link.
Scratch that, it wasn't as hard as I thought!

Thanks
I'll have a look at that. Ideally I'd like them to connect to each other wirelessly, but a cable (or homeplug?) would be a good second best.

If your like me you get most satisfaction from utilising kit lying around
if you Google "WIFI booster" you will see the kit you are thinking about. I think around £30 from Maplins
But if you have the cable and the router or should I say switch

Thanks Peter.
My son set this up now. He can access the internet from his Macbook in the garage as he wanted. router to homeplug, homeplug to router, and he has logged into the second router. I'm not entirely sure how he set it up, because I haven't had a look yet, but oddly the second router doesn't come up on the DHCP list of the first one. I'm not too bothered as it works.
