bras reset option

Would it be possible for end users to have access to a button / script in the control pannel that coudl re-set a lines bras rate when it goes awol.
Just a thought.

No because it is BT that sets this. Actually its an automated system at the exchange which neither PlusNet or the user has access too.
Bras Profiles are updated dependant on line conditions. In the past when you sync lower, the Bras profile is adjusted downwards within 75 minutes and after resyncing back at your normal rae it would take 3 -> 5 days for BT to catch up again. This is changing so a profile change should only take a few hours to return back to normal in most situations.

Is there any suggestion of when this is going to happen? From recent experience it still takes 48hrs.

It has already happened but no sign of it actually making any difference to the time needed to restore your BT profile.
Possibly another theoretical solution that never works in practice!
