Angry *asbo googles niche isp's left in the uk. how much and where do i sign

Andrews & Arnold are the ultimate niche ISP. http://aaisp.net.uk/broadband-basic.html - excellent if you have minimal weekday daytime (9am to 6pm) requirements.

Re: bbc i player 0x60 on 21cn trial

Asbodog, it's a good job you haven't got my throughput speed at the moment..........
With a sync rate of 9721 and a profile of 8000 I am running at 130 kbps.
That's about 1 megabyte a minute.  Cry

yeah ive been following your thread and feel for you.
lets hope PN use mand's enforcer on BTw and get some of the issues with 21cn sorted, instead of letting BTw push them about

1. I wonder if this signature has been rolled to the 21CN gateway.

Has it been confirmed that this was done?

Re: bbc i player 0x60 on 21cn trial

thats what ive been thinking that it was simple mistake like that but all caps i did yestraday used the same ip address for 7 diffrent programs so if the sig uses ip range as part of the sig it could of been easy to mis some of the ip's out

Looking at the sig and your capture it should work fine, I've made a change though can you give it another try and see if that makes a difference please?

Re: bbc i player 0x60 on 21cn trial

Wouldn't need a disconnect/reconnect. Still trying to work this out as every test we've done is fine and I've not seen anyone else getting this. What else are running at the time you are using iPlayer? Any file downloads or anything from Akamai/Limelight?

77.67.21.78
ISP: Tiscali International Network B.V.
Organization: AKAMAI TECHNOLOGIES

o.k ive just manged to get 0x80 stream from this ip on port 80.
somthing i had tried before the sig went live was to clear all history ect on ie8 and also abobe flash history with ccleaner and get a new ip before trying again.
ive just tried that now after remembering i hadnt tried it since the sig went live and got the above result.
am i still on carl's profile?
why would clearing cache's  Crazy affect the sig tho?
added one of the 0x80 pcaps to my ticket
and to answer you question of any other download traffic nope

Re: bbc i player 0x60 on 21cn trial

o.k this dog has been visting diffrent packs the past hour and ive secent marked a couple of isp's that should offer near as gd gaming latency as plusnet but dont use mangment so i will not have to put up with this bull any more.
your support is excellent ect ect cant fault you there and probally would never find the support else were but the bad guy in company has been the traffic mangment which seems to have been smokein the crack pipe on my account.
i think its going to be case of if things havent sorted them selfs out by start of next week then i will be placing an order with new isp and enlisting ofcom's help to avoid paying the rest of the contract iam sure this would be classed somthing like failure to provide qos or somthing due to having streaming is gold and given line speed 24/7 splashed over the website
but plusnet being plusnet iam sure you would un hook me and set me free with out draging ofcom into if you cant get the traffic mangment to behave its self on my account in a timely manner
look forward to seeing a you tube vid posted tomoro of network guys smashing my traffic mangment settings to bits with a baseball bat and saving me having to move from a company i like
p.s i will not be home tomoro in the afternoon so cant do any testing
pps what would i do with my shark if left PN i would have to give him away  Cry

AB - Drop me a PM when you're free and I'll see what I can do to sort things out.
I've got an idea or two which might make things a bit better.

Re: bbc i player 0x60 on 21cn trial

so far the temp fix that dave has done on my account today is working a treat.
just hope it holds out as the streams ive tested where all from the same ip on port 80
i know iam special. But for the traffic mangment to single me out of 200,000 customers is mental.
do you rekon the national lottery will single me out of the millions of players Smiley
edit.
thats 2 ip sources on port 80 picked up as 0x80. so the temp fix looks to be working
