base speed bouncing up and down....

hiya,
a month ago my base speed was 10, but now it's dropped down to 4 as per plusnet page
router still says connecting at 9 or so...
I've been moving my router about in the last couple of days, but wouldn't have thought i'd made it worse
as it's now nearer to the main socket
is this normal behavior, can my base speed be changed/fixed?

Hi Pete,
I've changed your Plusnet profiling to 6000Kbps to match what BT have you down as.
You can see here that there's been quite a lot of fluctuations recently.
Let's see if it stays stable now your routers in a good position.

any chance of getting my profile bumped back up as my line seems to have stabalised and i've stopped fiddling with my network
would be nice to get back to the near 10k i have a month ago...

Hi Pete,
BT still have you down at 6500Kbps.  Might need to give it a few days.
